The ministry of education that was greatly affected by the covid 19 pandemic, has now successfully become active for about one month. Learners resumed back t schools and embarked to their normal studies in the beginning of this month.
Surprisingly, a number of shocking cases have been reported in various schools, whereby some learners are stabbing teachers without reasons. This have resulted to great fear in the ministry of education.
Another challenge has arose whereby five schools have been closed due to banditry attacks in Kapedo, Rift Valley region. The Rift Valley Regional Commander George Natembeya confirmed the event and reported that Teachers have fled from the area.
This is a great challenge to ministry of education. The government is struggling to apply the suggested ways to recover the lost academic year, whereas bandits are attacking learners and Teachers in schools. The government is advised to investigate the incidents and take action upon the victims.
