Niger Delta Highlife Music King and Numu-Pere 11 of Ijaw nation, King Pereama Freetown JP, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Almighty God for keeping him and his beloved ones alive to another year, saying that many people who started the year could not make it to the new year.
While wishing family members, friends, fans and every other persons happy new year, and counting the good deeds of God in his life and family, King Pereama Freetown JP says some persons embarked on a journey but did not return alive, some fell sick and died, some died suddenly without being sick, some pregnant women died in the process of delivery, some are being hospitalized, but we are alive, strong and healthy to enter another year by the grace and mercies of God.
The Music Pillar of Niger Delta in his new year message, advises the youths to shun evil and obey their parents so that their days will be long on Earth. He also advises them to be focused and plan their lives well, so that they will not call their parents witch if they fail to succeed in life due to their laziness and failure to plan for their future.
The Great GrandMaster of Music admonishes Nigerians to shun violence and follow the part of peace, saying that we are in new year and we should behave like new people. He also advises that we should avoid trouble makers and ignore anyone who insults us, and anyone who thinks he is very powerful should go and fight God.
The OBJ of Izon Music also preaches peace, love, unity and expresses confidence and optimism that this is a year of progress.
