Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has requested Operation Apakwu, a security outfit, to obliterate houses having a place with suspected kidnappers or armed robbers.
He likewise requested the arrest of any property manager who accommodates criminals.
He provided the request in a meeting with newsmen end of the week in Calabar, the state capital.
“The opportunity has arrived that each Cross Riverian, including landowners should represent each inhabitant. This is essential for the guideline that I have endorsed into law under the Homeland Security.
It is the obligation of the public authority, the police and the military under the Operation Apakwu to destroy houses that are involved by equipped looters, ruffians or outlaws.
